Intellectual Property Statement
When my High-Level Concepts Lead to IP Theft [over and over again]
In Short
All original concepts, designs, and naming associated with VDI (Visual Data Intelligence) and HEUREKA.digital are 100% the sole intellectual property of Sabine Kurjo McNeill. While collaborators may have contributed code, their implementations are derivative of my documented designs and remain unauthorised without licence. This ownership has been explicitly acknowledged in prior written statements, ensuring clarity and protection for investors and collaborators.
Copyright
These software designs are protected under copyright law. No reproduction, deployment, or derivative use is permitted without explicit written authorisation.
Domain Rights
The domain name HEUREKA.digital is exclusively owned and operated by Sabine. Any use of this domain, or any confusingly similar identity, without permission is unauthorised.
Licensing
No licence has been granted to third parties to use, reproduce, or commercialise these designs or brand identities. Any claim to unrestricted use is invalid unless supported by a formal written agreement.
Ownership
While collaborators have contributed code, the intellectual property of original concepts, naming, and designs remains 100% Sabine’s, as acknowledged in prior written statements. Unauthorised deployments or misrepresentations of ownership are considered infringements.
Non‑Acknowledgment or Minimisation
Any attempt to deny, obscure, or reduce Sabine’s ownership does not alter the legal reality of her rights. Unauthorised deployments or misrepresentations of ownership are considered infringements.
Dependency Evidence
In December 2024, Neil Lowden explicitly requested my documentation of transformations in order to reproduce his code, that was paid for but got lost around 2020. This demonstrates reliance on my intellectual property. Any attempt to minimise this ownership to “concept creator” or to deploy derivative works without licence is unauthorised and considered infringement.
Acknowledgment Record
On November 12, Neil explicitly wrote: “Legally, outside of a written agreement, all code I've written to date remains my copyright. However, the intellectual property of original concepts is of course, 100% Sabine's.” This acknowledgment confirms that while Neil may hold copyright over the literal code he typed, his implementation is derivative of my documented designs.
Philosophy
Charles Caleb Colton, an English cleric and writer, wrote in 1820: “Imitation is the sincerest of flattery.”
Oscar Wilde gave a witty twist: “Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness.”
Commitment
HEUREKA.digital is built on principles of reproducibility, ethical design, and trust. Protecting this intellectual property ensures clarity for investors, collaborators, and the broader ecosystem.
